1966 FORD F-100
What a great year for Ford trucks. It was the second year of the "Twin I-Beam" front suspension system where the two front axles work independently to absorb road shocks. It also holds wheel alignment which reduces tire wear. In combination with the new Flex-O-Matic rear suspension which adjusts spring stiffness, you are guaranteed a smooth ride.
While 1966 was the first year for new options such as the 360 and 390 cu. in. V8 engines, it was the last year featuring this body style.
What a nice 50 year old cool farm truck. V8 352 with the 3 speed on the column .
It is not perfect but it is very clean. It has some ding and scratches, and minor rust . A older paint job but looks great from 10 feet. This truck has been babied all its Florida life . Hard to find these trucks that are not all rusted out and all original .
Even has its original am radio . Recently done, New rims and wide white wall classic tires, brakes and lines, front and rear shocks , battery , tow hitch/receiver , carburetor, painted bed liner , and complete tune up .
Everything works and a blast to drive . A true old school work horse that does not quit !
