of Cheryl Martinez®

Cheryl always knew she was destined to entertain. She has performed her original music at the National Puerto Rican, Dominican, & Gay Pride Parades, the NYC Marathon, Festival Hip-Hop Latino, Festival De Danza, the Nuyorican Café, & MMA Spain. She's worked as a songwriter with DJs & Producers throughout the USA, Spain, London, Germany, & India. Her music is available on iTunes, Beatport, Amazon, Spotify, PledgeMusic, All Music, Vevo, and her website.

Early Life

At the tender age of 3, Cheryl took her first dance class, and never looked back. Her love for dance grew into a true passion for performing. As she got older Cheryl added private voice lessons and acting workshops to her already intense study of the art of dance. Furthering her education brought Cheryl to the University of Binghamton where she graduated with honors while earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Aerobics Certification. She also served on the Executive Board of the International Sorority Alpha Phi, while working as a choreographer for the University & at local dance studios. After college Cheryl headed to NYC to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. Once arriving, Cheryl dove into the hectic NY scene taking advantage of any chance she could get to be on stage or in front of the camera.

Career

Her career has expanded far beyond her music. She has appeared in major Hollywood feature films including “El Cantante” & “Spiderman 3” and a few short films as shown on her IMDb. You may recognize her in music videos with Beyonce, 50 Cent, & Diddy, to name a few, or have seen her on the cover of magazines like Talent Raters, Sex Appeal, & Nu’Linx. You've also heard her on BPM Sirius XM Radio, La Fiesta 98.5FM in NY, Mix Madrid 97.4FM in Spain, and on Taff TV in Germany. Personal Life

Cheryl is unmarried with no children.  Her father is Puerto Rican & Spaniard, and her mother is Italian & Irish. Her father owns Island Motor Cars and her brother Manny Martinez is a professional race car driver. In 1983, her grandfather founded Utopia Home Care®, Inc. which is still family owned & operated today. Cheryl is a proud vegan, & animal rights advocate. She has contributed to and helped raise money for Freedom Farm Animal Rescue, the Wild Bird Fund, & WIRES. Her life mission is to inspire a kinder, more sustainable world through plant-based music, and her blog Veginner Cooking.

Business Ventures

This multi-faceted star is also a successful businesswoman and Certified Television Producer. In 2007, she founded Tools For Talent®, Inc. a Talent Management & Marketing firm. Inspired by her passion for helping aspiring artists, she currently interviews industry veterans, celebrities, & social media stars on her cable TV Series TFT TV. Her mission is to change the competitive nature of the cut-throat entertainment industry with a platform where we can all help each other succeed.
